Kentmere Stop Bath
We recommend using a Kentmere Stop Bath after development for best reults. This will immediately stop development and reduce carry over of excess developer into the fixer bath, helping to maintain the activity and prolong the life of the fixer solution.
- Kentmere Stop Bath should be mixed 1:9
Film
- For a 300ml spiral tank you will need to measure 30ml of concentrate and mix with 270 ml of water at the desired temperature and stir thoroughly before adding it to your tank.
- Agitate for around 10 seconds before pouring out your stop bath and moving on to our Kentmere Film and Paper Fixer
Paper
- To make up 1lt of working strength solution measure 100ml of concentrate and mix with 900ml of water at the desired temperature, then stir thoroughly before adding it to your tray
- Once paper has been developed and is in your stop bath solution, rock the tray gently from side to side for 20 seconds before moving it to the tray containing Kentmere Film and Paper Fixer
